This is your first female anatomy sketch? Pretty impressive…
It looks nice. Nothing jumps out at me as completely off. A few things to possibly look at:
- sternocleidomastoid looks a little massive given her overal build
- eyes seem possibly a touch too close together and possibly just a touch on the small side. Generally, from the front there’s about the same amount of space between the eyes as there is from the outside edge of the eye to the side of the face. However, looking more closely, it might just be that the head itself is a touch wide because the mouth also looks a bit on the small side, though well within the range of normal variation.
- upward angle of the ribs seems a tiny bit steeper than you’d normally find.
- From the side, her stomach looks like she’s sucking in her gut. Based on her general proportions, I’d expect her stomach to protrude a bit more (not a lot, though), right now the furthest forward point of her stomach is in line with the front of her thigh. You’d expect that in a woman with a much slighter build than she has
- the head, from front to back, seems a little small.
All of these are pretty minor nits, though. Overall, it’s quite a nice study and for a first anatomy try it’s fantastic. I’m guessing you may have spent more time working from the front and back views. You might want to spend more time rotating the figure while sculpting, but that’ll come naturally as you use ZBrush more.
Keep it up. This is an amazing start.
