thanks for your support rachel.really glad you liked it.;);)

She’s looking great so far! Can’t wait to see her textured

Congratulations, now waiting for low-res and then for orc creature if you still wanna do a full figure of him. I should admit you have a great patience, I often abandon my projects just in the middle :+1:
PS Just don’t forget to randomize this little poaches cause now they look identical. Though this might be made intentionally (for optimization in low-poly stage etc)

Jakub: much appreciate your comment my friend.Glad you liked it.;)
Vir Norin: hey buddy thanks a lot for your comment.yeah I still wanna make that full body but probably I’ll make another head for that.and you’re right about those pouches.I’ll fix’em.thanks again.;)

didn’t want to waste any time so I started working on my Orc warrior.just made his body.all from scratch(except his hands that I used insert mesh).took me three days.I’m gonna work on his face.C&C are more than welcome.hope you like it.cheers.:+1:small_orange_diamond:+1::wink:

good start on the orc warrior… anatomy looks good, except the back muscles do not flow correctly at (and into) the buttocks. is maybe not important when you put clothes on top…

I like the anatomy, keep it going!

there’s a plenty of anatomy errors on this…both back and front…
sorry i don’t mean that your work is bad …but it is better that you refine it using a reference…
i really recommend Stephan rogerspeck’s and Paul richer books…
but it looks good…just for showing you some errors i have used my little anatomy knowledge and this is it:

Cool! Nice to see you already started making an Orc. AS Kokoro said you are probably not very concerned about making it 100% correct since it would be covered with armor anyways. But here are some tips anyways.

  • IMHO for a such developed body the clavicle is too defined. Pectoralis major originates from the frontal surface of the clavicle and when thick it softens the bone a lot. Check out some bodybuilder photos and you will see that collar bone is defined only in interval between Pecs and Deltoid (at Infraclavicular fossa)
  • It is not very clear from this angle but Biceps looks a bit too wide/thick and fused with Brachialis. With muscular body like this I bet that separation between them should be visible.
  • Also not really sure about so prominent separation between Brachioradialis and Flexor carpi radialis at the forearm. I did some researches in Google and looks like even big dudes don’t have it.
  • Today I was already giving the same advice to another person. You need some sort of genitals to make a figure look right. Lol, why so many people shy of doing this? Without genitals the thighs appear elongated. Also don’t be confused with Thigh line and Inguinal ligament -they are not connected. To explain it better, thigh line is a furrow originating between genitals and inner thigh which deepens/extends further up and laterally when bending the upper leg (that’s why you need a package - to give a proper start for this feature). And Inguinal ligament goes from ASIS to pubic bone, it DOES NOT reach the crotch, but ends higher than ***** or vagina (females often don’t have this line visible).
  • As for the thigh - you really need to add Sartorius which will separate your adductors from Quadriceps and will add this distinct break to the silhouette. Here in the middle of the knee I see a common mass of tendons but everything vanishes above. When you establish Sartorius, you will find that Rectus femoris and Vastus medialis are too bulky and extending too much medially so don’t be afraid to chop them off.
  • Trained male buttocks reminds the kidney bean shape. Or a doughnut shape with great trochanter at center and fleshy Gluteus medius and maximus bulging around. To simplify your work, try to find sacral triangle first (inverted triangle which points are the top of gluteal cleft and posterior inferior iliac spines).
  • His back also requires some work. Try to find the placement and shape of scapulas first and then place the muscles accordingly. Teres major is a thick prominent muscle that goes from the lowest point of shoulder blade to the upper part of the Humerus (in a rest pose it looks diving into the armpit). Overall mass of Infraspinatus and teres minor above is mostly planar and not defined. Then goes deltoid. In your sculpt the posterior fibers of Deltoid ends too soon, they should extend more towards the midline. Just remember to not sculpt the Deltoid extending up to the spine of scapula since it terminates with wide triangular tendon that has no volume and appears recessed in life. Same with Trapezius tendons. Also, Trapezius goes down to 12 thoracic vertebra (lower than in your sculpt). Latissimus dorsi is relatively thin muscle so often you can see the volume of Serratus anterior underneath it.

I have more tips to share but this one are the crucial for now. I hope that was helpful. If it is too complicated and has a lot of new terms just google it and compare my advices with good ecorche to see what I was talking about. SO good luck and hope to see you with new updates soon.

OMG ZBC thinks that a name for male genitals (starting at “P”) is an offensive word and hid it with stars. Have no idea why they have left “vagina”. Lol, I hope I’m not gonna be banned soon

Jakub:thanks a lot buddy.glad you liked it but as you can see it has lots of problems.haha:lol:
kokoro: thanks a lot doris.i’ll kepp an eye for that part.;)
ABDOLER: thank you soo much muhammad.it’s like I really didn’t see those parts.thanks for showing me.waiting for your next works my firend.;)
Vir Norin: hey buddy, wassup?? thank you very much for your time explaining those problems to me.I didn’t really want to make him super muscular(that’s not interesting anymore.at least for me) & as you can see I sculpted some fat here & there on his body(but I guess that wasn’t enough hehe:lol:).that’s why I really didn’t pay much attention to parts like Brachialis to be super visible.but for most parts you are right.I’ll fix major parts but I don’t wanna spend too much time on the anatomy cuz that wasn’t my goal.I just wanted him too be cool looking.but after finishing this work I’ll go for a full anatomy practice.I promise.BTW I would love to see a tutorial about female anatomy from you.that would be super awesome.thanks again for your tips my friend.;);)

Hi, I’m fine! Thanks for asking.
Yep, I totally got your point. As well about reusing stuff like hands or feet - those fingers can take so much time to sculpt so I also prefer to reuse the old ones.
I think it would be better to see female anatomy tutorials from a such experts here like EOF, Cesar Zambelli or Ysalex. But I will think about it. Also, while I’m getting better at writing English, I’m still not that good when speaking it in real time. So if I do something like tutorial it would probably be a series of images with descriptions.

Here’s his head.just overall shape.didn’t sculpt any details yet.hope you like it.:+1:small_orange_diamond:+1::wink:

Looking good Diablo! Loving the detail on the plates of armor. :+1:

thanks a lot buddy.glad you liked it.;)

Great, looks cool already! Where do you take your inspiration from? I’m talking about armor pieces. I’m more into sci-fi stuff but after seeing recently a lot of cool fantasy images I also want to try myself in designing fantasy clothing.
PS Just noticed that his arms are a bit too long (or legs too short), but I think it might be a cool thing and make him more brutal/animalistic.
PPS Also I like the hair solution. Ponytail and small beard looking cool

hey man wassup?? thanks for visiting & glad you like it.I’m mostly inspired by games when I wanna make this type of armor( you know after playing ES:Skyrim, witcher, dragon age & etc you won’t even need to think about what you wanna make.it will come to you).I usually grab a box, turn it to dynamesh & start sculpting on it without any reference or something like that.just making something cool out of it(whatever you want).& you have to keep on thing in mind: DON’T TRY TO MAKE IT CLEAN ( i’m not talking about it’s topology.hehe:D) make it harsh, thick & ugly with lots of damage on it.there’s no need to polish everything(like when you’re making sci-fi stuff).for example look at his shoulder armor right now.there’s nothing perfect about that.hope this can help you.I love to see your next fantasy piece.goodluck:+1:small_orange_diamond:+1::wink:

Nice armor…i really love those boots…and the armor plate infront of genital part…:stuck_out_tongue: idont know the name…sry for bad english…another thing…i will ask you about that in private …real good sculpt diablo…cheers…
