thank you again for your feedbacks my friend.always helpful.;)
Hey man. Cool to see you’re making progress. That gun looks great. Keep it up
Five have died in Sally’s name. Nice work with the MTB2 and the modeling.
Your Orc is unique in that he appears to me as a pure warrior nobility, young and heroic; a completely different perspective than that what is common.
CarlForsberg: hey man,how you doin’? hope you’re doing great.thanks a lot for stopping by.that means a lot.;)
Takai:thanks for the kind words my friend.really glad you liked my works.yeah I wanted that Orc to be more like a war hero (at least among Orcs hehe).someone tough & brutal but clever.

Looks Epic! Congratulations! Up to this moment his eyes were staying grey and now with adding colors it makes a huge difference. Waiting for the girl as well.

Nice updates Maybe add some wireframe renders and texture thumbnails so people can judge about polycount and texture work.
thank you so much my friend for being supportive.it means a lot.;) well I’m starting to think not a lot of people interested in my works ( at least this one hehe) but I’ll keep pushing.BTW you can check the marmoset scene here:

hope you like it.thanks again.;)
Nice character man! Like all the little props on him. How do you like Marmoset?
Diablo Don’t let the absence of comments discourage you. I know this might be frustrating when you put a lot of efforts and then nobody notice or don’t reply. At the end all this likes and pageviews don’t really matter - it is just a numbers. While browsing in social networks I’ve seen a lot of good or even brilliant works that were misjudged by the audience while the absolute junk (like thousands of cloned girls from DAZ) getting undeserved applause. What really matter is the fact that you like what you do, that you grow as an artist with every new piece and bring something original to this world.
Also, I might be wrong but it appears like the last few weeks (or month) ZBC for some reason has a fewer activity. There were days when the forum or ZBSee was updated with new image or comment each 15-20 minutes while now I often see intervals in 2-3 hours. That’s strange.
I will disappear for unknown period of time hence I wish you good luck with your new projects and I hope to see you soon!
n1agara:thanks buddy, always a pleasure to have you stop by.;)
Vir Norin: sent you a pm.;)
Hey there mate
U made nice progress. This character is not looking bad…tho I have some suggestions for u.
First of all…always take good care of the high volumes before going into detailing. I will show u an example but that goes for all your character. Look at the boots…the boots don’t follow the shape of an actual foot…they’re straight and missing some volumes. When working on something make sure u get a ton of references for it. Be patient and slowly make sure every single part has the right volumes. That also applies to clothes…your folds right now look really generic and without depth…and the clothes don’t look like they’re falling on a body…u can’t see the anatomy underneath…unless the anatomy is made from some cylinders. Same story…get some good references and take your time.
Your anatomy is not bad…but you should spend more time on it…that’s what makes a character believable.
Also…to get a really good looking character u need to add a lot of details…like cloth seams, small imperfections, folds where straps are holding the cloth…etc. Don’t hurry up the process. Take your time and make sure everything is perfect.
Regarding your low poly…u need to rework some maps…especially specular/glossiness ones…for example the coat should have no specular…or at least a really small value and whitish glossiness if u want to make it a synthetic type of fabric.
Anyway…keep working…you will figure out where u do good and where u need to work a little bit more…but in the end u will get there.
thanks a lot for your comment mate.that was great.it’s really nice to get some feedback from industry pros like you.I’ll keep those parts in mind.to be honest I sculpted the high-res model last year & after 8 months when I looked at it I wasn’t really happy with the result neither but I turned him into the low poly model to see it’s problems & I learned something important:it doesn’t matter how clean your game-res topology is & how good you make the textures,as long as you don’t have a great high-res sculpt it will turn your work into garbage.for example look at his coat.you see some ugly artifacts on the collar & I couldn’t fix that.well thanks again for your awesome feedback.I would love to hear your opinion about the Archer-girl & that Orc warrior I made before I’m going for the lowpoly.;)
Here’s my new work.tried to practice some female anatomy on this character.she’s some kinda post-apocalypse military survivor or whatever.still lots of things to be done.C&C are appreciated as always.
Nice work,
the weapon is very nice, and the characters too,
good work too on the skin polypainting,
the general anatomy looks nice & realistic,
and all the (‘props’ or ‘assets’ ?) clothes & accessorys wich are as always, well detailed & done.
So yeah, good evolution & progress.
Can I ask you what are you working on now ?
Anyway, as always I keep an eye on your work
made this one last week for fun ( and of course for practicing Mtoolbag2 & SubstancePainter).hope you like it.;);)
MarkAntonik: really sorry for my late reply.I was a bit busy.thanks a lot for your kind words.much appreciated my friend.

Hi, Diablo!
It looks very cool!
Slightly lacking the background to complete the composition.
It may be worthwhile to add some attributes it? But not too much highlighting.
