My Sketchbook

Hey Guys,

It’s been a long long time with out posting here or any other place and decided that it’s about time to go back and post some of my recent works.
I need feedback on my works and i know it’s a great community to get the right feedback and critiques that i need in order to complete those works and become better in this field .
some of my works was made several months ago ( or even years ago ) and i polish some of them once in a while but i need someone with a fresh eye to see if something pop’s up.

Hey Smeagol

Great work. There are a couple of things I would look at again.

Batman

Needs a-symmetry. He is way to similar on both sides.
The neck seems short and which also may be contributed to the mask. It feels as if it’s too far forward up to the chin. I think that needs to be pushed back more but tough to tell from the rendered angle.

Fairy

I would put some movement in the fingers, especially the one on her leg. She feels too stiff. I would revisit how muscle and fat tissue would lay in a pose like that. This will give the sculpt more weight. Right now it feels too digital.

Gorilla

Would be cool to see some FiberMesh on him.

All and all keep it coming.

Batman
I think you are right about the neck , now when i look back it seems too short to me also !
I also have to make a-symmetry to make it more alive and interesting, thanks for mention that !
I will add tomorrow more angles from the batman and other works so you are welcome to open my eyes again .

Fairy
I used this image of the Fairy Pin-Up as a reference to my model and her left hand also feel too boring or stiff .
I’m open to suggestion how to make it more appealing , i know that i don’t have to follow the reference 1 by 1 but in pose like that she have to support her upper body by lay down her hand on her leg .
About the weight , i agree with you about how the muscle and fat tissue should be lay in pose like that , i will do more research

Gorilla - i will definitely make an attempt with fiber mesh , i don’t have lots of experience with this feature but i’m always ready to try :+1:

I also saw your webinar on Zbrush workshop a few months ago about fiber mesh and other features and i was amaze from your knowledge and the power of Zbrush from someone like you , it was truly inspire to see someone who know Zbrush from every angle and perspective.
I was recommend on your course in animation group on Facebook to my colleagues after i saw how much i can learn from you .
i hope i will have the time and money to join the next course .

A few more works from different times .
The Freddy crueger was made around 2-3 years ago to a contest on CG society for Hard Core modeling .
since the subject was really interesting i decided to enter .

After the challenge and the final decision i won the Best Model but i decided to improve the model .
I think it’s much better then 2-3 years ago .

Hi everyone ,

I wanna add to my sketchbook a few works that i created recently.
After i saw two days ago " Warcraft " the movie it seems like the right time for posting it .
They are all created based on Yao Deng concept art ! i think about making more fanart after the movie .
All of them render in Zbrush !

Hey Guys ,

I want to share my new works with you !
Recently decided to focus on rendering my models using Keyshot.
I used to render my models inside Maya but I think for Cartoon i can achieve beautiful renders with Keyshot.
I’m still experimenting with the features the software have.

The first model was based on Justin Rodrigues concept .
