nice work well done, keep it up

Thanks for the encouragement. The work people post on this forum just blows me away.

Started out trying to do Clint Eastwood, that went badly so this is what I ended up with.

Chun li… sweet memories

Maybe a little bit less prominent chin, based on my memories…

:+1:

Thanks for the recommendation, I have a problem sculpting the anime look. I will work on that chin before the finished entry.

Thanks again.

I agree, chin is a little too strong (chin li? ) and you may take care of the folds on the legs, they don’t seems naturals enough, mainly in the upper thigh, the eyes are too wide, I know it’s manga but these looks a bit hypnotic. Don’t mean to be harsh on you, just some advices. I don’t deal with manga character myself, i find it pretty difficult to find the correct balance in it, but you’re not far from it, keep up the good work

Here is a little shot of my progression. Thanks for the advice on the wrinkles on the legs.

Hey Man
chunLi’s eyes need to be more feminine. If you make her eyes smaller, closer to a squint it will follow the form better…think; if you were doing a jumping attack like this how would your eyes look? She looks more afraid then in “attack mode” so squint those beauties! it’ll make her look more real and also make her look more feminine (the eyes will always be the hardest part of any human 3d model) [dont forget eyelashes]

also think about adding some special effects…is she charging an air fireball?

good luck!:+1:

Yea it’s true, her face does look very manly xD

I worked on some of the areas that were pointed out. Still some work to do but I think this is shaping up a little better. Thanks fo the input keep it coming.

Chun_Li_Beauty.jpg

it looks better, but you should reduce the chin again, try it for yourself with the picture on your post and hide the face under the mouth and you’ll see she looks more feminine. :+1:

Massing improvement  but maybe still a bit too prominent in the chin and jaw area… eyes look great though

It is amazing I can stare at this for hours and not notice these problems but when you guys point out something its like wow, why didnt i see that. Thanks for all the input.

MUCH BETTER…her jaw looks big only because her lips are tiny… i dated a girl with a mouth like ur model once so it ok but my current girl as gorgeous big lips, try making the lips more swelled…it may help the jaw line…i think her eyes look much much better (big is ok when there’s lashes)

the hair line could use a line of fibers to give it more realism (like the eyelashes but 4x longer)

i didnt want to nit-pick too much but i really didnt like the extreme wrinkles ontop of the boobs and you fixed them without me sayin…Bravo

lastly; the back hand should be turned at the wrist a little so the pinky finger is more out of view, simple to do TRY IT
