My portfolio

I just finished my classes at Ubisoft campus and have plenty of time so decided to show some stuff I made during my school days. The thirst is my last work based on concept by Thierry Doizon from his gnomon dvd Character Design pipeline.
There is also low poly model in max with normal maps . And my other older stuff.
All C&C are welcome.

I think I did somthing wrong , I cant see my images so repost.

Cool! Does graduating from UBI Soft campus garuantee you a job at UBISOFT?

Not realy, but in my opinion this is one of the best schools here in Montreal. And if you are good you will have no problem to find a job anywhere.

Great Stuff,

We’re you mentored by some of the great Artists at Ubisoft, especially on their Zbrush work?

Can we see some wireframes as well as details on how you set up hair?

Did you use the Gears of War methof for the hair?

Good stuff, I’m wondering the same thing as TJX do they hire you when you get out of school and how do you get into something like that?

I love the hair of this guy.

Awesome!!! Very good models and textures, congratulations!!!
Regards

thanx guys for comments. Hair was particularly difficult for me and I end up with regular planes and alphas, like maxgamer said similar way as Epic use for Gears of War characters. I post some wireframe for you to judge. I know one thing next time I model character I will weld all little pieces to main mesh or at least those what follow edge flow. Lesson I learned, always model animation wise ( especialy if you plan to work in gaming ) My next model will be better structured and rotation point with better definition for bes deformation.

The last character with the funky hair wouldn´t look out of place in the yet to be released game “Mirror´s Edge” by Dice, a game I´m looking forward to  http://www.gametrailers.com/player/33585.html

Congratulations on completing your studies at the Ubisoft campus, looking forward seeing more from you!

gnarly. not many people nail the rythms in with style. Honestly one of the more solid pieces of art ive seen around here lately.

Amazing work Aliasfx, I love the fine details and folds on the cloths, and the cool low poly hair technique

SORYY TJX

Don’t mean to be rude sumeet, but you should really be creating your own thread if you want comments on your work instead of posting your work on someone else’s portfolio thread and asking for comments.
