My New Year's card in 2005

Hi.
My name is Shikuri. I’m girl friend of Pigma.

I made the picture connected at the New Year of Japan this time.
Each year animal is a symbol of the calendar in Japan.
Those 12 kinds of animals exist.
It rotates in order such as the rat, the cow, the tiger, the rabbit, the dragon, the snake, the horse, the sheep, the monkey, the chicken, dogs, and wild boars.

2005 year of this year is an age of the chicken.
There are a lot of decorations that make the chicken a motif in the town and the New Year’s card in Japan now. :grimacing:

I made this original picture referring to painter’s chicken’s picture named Jakuchu Itoh of the 18th century.

This year must be a happy new year for you.

Please look at the explanation of the picture of the dragon that I made before
when you do not understand the pattern of the wing on bird’s surface easily.

Very inventive use of zbrush. I love the effect of combining the toonshaded render with the colours. Gives a beautiful pen and ink look.:+1: :+1:
