My interpretation of Juclecia Sebine Re Elcritian

I am not very familiar with any forums but decided to start with zbrush one because thats what I do the most these days (my first post on the net), tweaking my mesh in zbrush, this model is based on character from korean game Magnakarta and character name Juclecia , I found the pose very dynamic from original concept art and decided to chalenge my self to transpose same movement in 3d and Zbbrush is the best 3d package for me for that .

Great posing of the character and i think she looks quite the original image too :+1: Well done and would love to see a texture on her too.

I really like this - such great attention to detail too. Just looking at the sculpt only, you’ve captured a rare innocence coupled with a sense of something just not right about her - chicken’s feet on the end of a stick?! :wink:

Eonsuu I am little bit afraid to spoil this model by texturing it , bit I am working now on the textures , this is my weaknes :slight_smile: , Currently I have big issues to normal mapp the hairs because in low rez it doesn’t keep the right shape and my mesh (hair) is not detail enough to generate smooth normal map, so if anybody can come up with an advise it would be very apreciated . thanx again to all of you who take time to critic my work .

This is what I am talking about , so if any body have advise for me how to correct hair to get nice and smooth normal map or if somebody can advise about the way to remodel the hair . thanx again for comments

Hy rodion vlasov , thanx for post, I am working very hard to complete this character and I hope it will be completed by the end of this week ( I hope). I will post the original concept art I used as reference . concept art was done by artist name Kim Hyung Tae, he is realy talanted , his characters are very stylised , if you want to see more of his character concepts , look for book Oxyde 2x

Great work AliasFX, nice mouvement and feeling. About your hair problem, i think you need to retopo them. Look in Zbrush online manual or search in the forum ‘retopology’, you will get the workflow for this.

Thanx Takkik, I found some tuts on retopo, and I will follow your advise , the idea about retopologysing crossed my mind before but now you confirming that I am shure it will help.

Really nice sculpt! With the retopo, just make sure that your retopo mesh follows the flow of the mesh. Points that have a ton of detail on the high res mesh should have extra loops at the base level.

thanx womball for advise. I am actualy working on retopo of the hair. I find it very painful :slight_smile: , or maybe I am just to much in details. Anyway I did some test with half completed retopo mesh and seems to give a good result so I am working on it.
