Sorry to bring up an old piece but I’ve just now seen it. May I ask what material you’re using in this final render? All of the lines are so soft and painterly, I love it!
I like your Owl composition very much.
Thanks, the material was an modified version of an material I downloaded from the download center at pixologic’s site, http://www.pixologic.com/zbrush/downloadcenter/library/ . I think it was called MP_grey.
Thank you !!
An render of an made up species of mine. Unlike my previous submission of this creature I wanted to show it in it’s natural habit and show how I imagine it’s environment.
这些家伙看上去更像是硅基生命!
??? I wish I knew other languages.
Google translation; "These guys look more like a silicon-based life".
Oh, thank you Voodoodad. Well, then thats interesting I’m going to have to look in silicon based life forms. I didn’t even know there was such a thing, thank you for you comment, overmind82 !
I’ve just done some practice with the fiber mesh and I love it !!! and to get to birds with one stone I decided to practice a human head since The last time I did it was horrible and generic. I think this time it came out better, but I still have allot to learn. All critiques warmly welcomed !!
I’m just not quite sure who he is ? I was thinking maybe a boxer or a police man? I’m open to suggestions.
No, not the band…this was an experiment with the new micro mesh and Fibers combine technique shown in the videos released for Z4R2. I must say an nice useful tool and makes my life 10 times easier hehe, enjoy
!!!
Looking good!
looks fantastic. what was your workflow for the eagle?do share some steps. also show us the feather for the micromesh.
Thank you !!
Thanks, I will do soon as I can !!
Long time no pst… Here’s some recent wips.
#1: flying wolf:
#2: new lizman: a redo of my previous lizard man post earlier in my thread.
very interesting and nice sketchbook.
your newest work the dinosaur is looking really great, digging it big time.
Could be a Digimon or something ^^
Looking forward seeing more from you.
Cheers and happy zbrushing,
- Kenny
Thanks so much ^_^, and I guess he does kind remind me of an digimon. Geez, I haven’t watched that series in a while.
Just something quick (meaning about 2.5 days a few hours a day) and for some more practice. Plus playing around in zbrushes fiber mesh system. I must say it’s very fun and easy to use.
Well, I’m not quite sure what this thing is but I used anatomy from lions, lizards, deer, llamas, and some human anatomy. Enjoy !!
I was just playing around with some Insert brushes and proof my first mechanical object in zbrsuh. At which I find sculpting mechanical objects hard, eve after watching allot of the zclassroom videos. However I won’t give up and I will keep practicing. Hopefully with more awesome and better results than this effort…
…But here it is anyways:

Also, which of the renders do you guys like? I’m having trouble deciding…
