This is my 3rd model in ZBrush and my 1st attempt at an alien.

Did you use Zspheres or did you import from Maya or 3D Studio? It looks really good, you might want to smooth out the lips a bit, they look a little too puffy for my personal tastes, convincingly done deformation though.
Thanks for the reply Twitchmonkey, yes it was all done in ZBrush using zsheres,
but i dident keep a ztl copy of the sphere’s 
only got a sub level 1 ztl tool.
Should i have kept the Zsphere i done?
Will have a look at smoothing and detailing the mouth area somtime today.
Shouldn’t be neccesary to keep a zsphere version if you’re happy with the overall geometry, which seems fine. I’m just trying to learn as much as I can about the elusive creature known as the zpshere.

here’s and update on it so far not happy with the mouth i think it needs a lot more work and so do the eyes but i think its getting there, what do you think.
Looking much better. You could add a bit ofa lower lip, just a small one, and see if that looks good, but I think you’ve got a good looking alien there. If you want to finish it off all you have left is to apply some skin and eye texturing and it should look great.
