Very nice sketchbook, Maarten. The last piece is looking epic. It has a ton of action to it, so it really keeps the eye moving.

This will be the last render of the centaur sculpt on to the next one. Deceminated model and renderd in a real light environment and comp in photoshop. I think you will like this one grtz M.
The countdown to see it on the top raw stats now, 10…9…8…
awesome render/model
Dang!! the render is pretty good!
the sculpt is awesome, but i think the “human” pose is too different of the " horse" pose.
Looks like his horse part is in the middle of a battle, and his human part is still.
Awesome man…really awesome.
I really liked the anatomy stuff…
Superb work.
the render is great also.
wow, very nice work indeed
Amazing !
I really enjoyed your work. Modeling 100%. Congrats!!!
really loving the composition and the form of this piece really nice render as a whole has alot of life looking forward to you next piece…
out of curiosity what was the workflow for the feathers i like the feel of them?
nice one - the position of the camera kinda makes it look like it’s a tiny statuette standing on a table with the museum in the bg to be honest…
Really amazing model and render. Those feathers look incredible, you can feel their fuzziness.
The only thing that bothers me is the glow in the lower part of the image. I would remove it completely and keep the effect only on top half of the image.
Top row material!
The model is incredible. Top Row, quality! The shader could use a bit of work. You got artifacting probably from Ambient Occlusion or GI undersampling. The white backdrop I think is rather harsh on the eyes and is blown out. I think you could use a sky backdrop, which would be a softer transistion between the two.
This model is amazing… Top row!!!
Wow this is great work. Thanks for inspiring me!small_orange_diamond
It would be more dynamic if he raised the hammer in the air instead of just having it in a resting position and better composition.
wow, I like the sculpting on the wings, great detail there, and render is nice to. gratz to ya.
Great work !
Thanks for sharing.
i like the pose great job
