Final update some color!!! Cheers Maarten.
Looks great but I really miss some of the spectacular features like the leg details on this last one. Sorry for that comment, great job
I love the coloring/texturing of the creature, although I would suggest a tad more intensity on what indicates a typical bosch dark red ( tongue, inner mouth). not too much - just like here for example http://i30.tinypic.com/hwbhh3.jpg
what doesn’t work for me at all is the whole motion blur/fog business here.
in my opinion that weakens the excellent work on the creature and takes away from the painterly feeling. it just doesn’t need that. a more calm neutral background with the subtle feeling and texture of an old canvas, fresco wall etc… or even wood, would be perfect.
that said, it’s just coming from my expectations and the vision your initial post sparked in my mind.
in the end it’s entirely your call. you probably want to go for something different altogether
wicked dude, whats better than 2 breasts, 4 BREASTS! you sexy beast
Hello Maarten!!!
I learn a lot watching your pictures of the final composition. This latter work is inspiring.
haha cool critter Mutte !
Great coloring!
May I ask you how many polys the model has?
And is the body only one part?
awesome! Would be cool to see some more angles on the colored version with a little less motion blur
Amazing job Maarten
Color overlay is excellent, beautiful colors too (and a lot of fun ?)
see ya
I like this demon, and I like the blur, and also the sense of motion and atmosphere it creates.
What made it a powerful piece to me was the symbolisms that the demon was holding…the upside down cross, and the hand holding the hand.
Maybe a hole through that hand that the demon is holding would add to the symbolism and give a further sense that the previous ower of that hand had been crucified…Just a thought.
Inspired and inspiring work as always…

Nice sculpting. His head might look a little thin.
