That a commom critique in every forum I posted this, seems like everybody wants more specular in the tumour area, because of the stretched skin. I’ll work on that, thanks for comment.

Thanks for the welcome. You pointed my feelings on this image, I tried to make his eyes (at least the “normal” one) to transmit this sadness. I’m happy that you could feel this too. Thanks.

1 - thanks a lot for the compliments, really aprcciated, but please, do not ever say “I can’t do this”, I used to do it, and now I see that talent means nothing if you don’t study hard. That’s why I’m always studying, so as to improve, so do the same, and I’m sure you’ll be able to do whatever you want in any time you want. Just keep loving waht you’re doing.
2 - Well, I see that way: I’m a 3D modeler, so I’ll have to be able to model everything, from a monster with a disturbing look to a beautiful playboy model. So I don’t see any problems looking at any type of art at all, since it’s well done, I don’t mind. My friend Alex Oliver always scupts disturbing pieces that makes me sick sometimes, but then I look to it again and see the beautiful of the forms, the volumes and all. As an artist or a modeler, or whatever we are, I can’t be impressed by anything, because if I do I’ll be limitating myself to a world of illusion where everything is beautiful. Sometimes life is worst than any art you can possible imagine, just (as you pointed) look at any medical book nad you’ll see things htat you would ever imagined exists.

SSS = Subsurface Scattering
Isn’t it said this way in english? Here in Brazil we call this effect by SSS, it’s easier

I said that I copied Jordu at the very first post of this thread. I do wrote on the image “based on a schell studio scuplture”. So everyone knows it’s a plagio,
Being a 3d modeler you MUST be a plagiarist too, unless you model only your own stuff and do not work for anyone. If you’re in a studio you’ll have to copy a sculpture or a concept from another person of the creative department. Or you think you’ll be able to model whatever you like? I’m only showing modeling and texture habilities in here, not taking credit for the idea of the model or the design. I’m sorry I was not clear enough about this.

“This”?? I assume you didn’t like my work… Thanks anyway for posting.
Thanks for the plug, I’m very happy that this study is going that far. Zbrush definitely speed modeling process, not only by the use of displacement maps, but also as a quick way to make a “sketch of ideas” in 3D media, so I’m doing 3 times more works than I used to, I hope to make a better material to show you asap
Cheers,
