multiple UV possible?

not sure how the wording goes, but is it possible to texture in zbrush useing multiple grids? like Y 1 & X 2?

example.

also, moderator can you please send a email password reset to aceala,
been about 18 months since i logged in, and i forgot what password i used.
i requested it about 3 times, and no emails, thank you!

If you have the new MAC version this is possible by doing a GroupSplit. The current PC 3.1 version can not do multiple textures. You have to bring each in as it’s own texture and then create the texture for exporting.

thank for the reply,
both grids are the same mesh, its 1 object.
i am on pc also, so its not possible?
ill have to combine both sides into possitive x+y you saying?

Please send an email to [email protected] about this. You’ll also need to include the password that you would like it set to.

sorry if im beating this question to death but,
on pc,
X1 & Y1 is only coordinates available for texturing?
thanks.

On the PC 3.1, yes you can only have a texture in the 0 to 1 space of X&Y. If you have multiple subtools in 3.1 that texture will be applied to every subtool. The MAC version does not work that way.
