If I have a cylinder pillar and want to draw multiple properly spaced out vertical lines down it but with one stroke, what’s the feature/method I need to do this?
In the Transform palette active Symmetry and switch on Radial symmetry. You can set the number of instances in the Radial Count slider. Switch on Lazy Mouse to control the stroke. Start dragging so that the red thread appears and then hold down Shift to constrain the stroke to the 90 or 45 degrees.
