multiple mesh character

i am having a prob, i have a model wich is composed by 3 meshes, the body part, the head part and the cloths part

now i need to sculpt it starting from a low poly version.

my actual problems are:
-how can i sculpt one of the mesh having others in place too to keep right the complete model (ex: i need to model the clothes having the body and head there too to help me keep right dimensions) ?

-can i have the low poly version kept in the scene with the high polyone to use it as a refenrence cage to not exceed in sculpting size (ex: while sculpting the high poly version having the low poly one there too to see where i exceed too much growing shapes and were not)?

i remember i read somethgin about multiple objects but i can’t find it again, and tried search the forum but without right results

thank u.

The MultiMarkers tool lets you manipulate (but not edit) multiple objects at the same time. It will not work for what you’re trying to do.

You would be better off creating multiple layers. On each layer, draw one of the objects and place a marker. You will probably want multiple angles of the object, with a marker for each.

Now create a new layer where you will do your editing. You can then click on a marker to draw the object at that location and orientation. You would then enter edit mode and sculpt. Any time you need to re-register the object with its reference you can simply clear the layer and activate the marker again.

If you lower the Rgb Intensity prior to activating the marker, you will be able to see through the model that you’re sculpting. This may help you use the other version as a reference a bit more easily. It might also help if you draw your reference models with a different color than you’re sculpting with.

ZBrush can only have one object editable at a time. These steps should help you work closer to the way that you’re looking for.

thanks, i am gonna try it and write here if i got everithgin right:)
