multi marker tool

I have 3 objects marked all in the same layer, all marker options turned on,
(2 eyes and a head)
how do i make the multimarker tool select them all?, it seems to only want to draw the head, not the eyes

I am sorry ,I do not have the answer I get that problem sometimes to. I export instead.

Case in point. Multi marker tool is weird. Very weird, and not a good kind of weird. A very very very very unkind tool.
To move the items you have to move them idivisualy They will not rotate nicely nor size.

I propose that you should learn how to export to a nice free program called Wings 3d or Blender. Pose them in either program then join them all as one object then import back to Zbrush. Much Better !

If you have no clue how, I am more than willing to help. But Zbrush does not think in 3D very well yet.

Hi, i’m pretty new here also but if you use multimarker tool it should draw all your tools that you’ve marked. Have you used “m” to all your objects? I tried it and works with me. Anyway let me know.

Hey print-sized, for what i’ve learned about zbrush it thinks very, very well in 3D and multimarkers I think they work very good also.

Odds are that you sculpted all three objects from the Sphere3D. Try saving each object with a unique name and then placing the markers. Not only should this help ZBrush differentiate the items, but it will also give each piece its own group in the composite mesh.

Note: If you have the demo, you can’t save models. But you shouldn’t use the MM tool anyway because the demo won’t create a composite mesh.

Something else to remember is that you can have only one marker per XY coordinate – so if you make one object, mark it, then make a second object centered on the marker and mark that one too, you will still have only one marker, referring to the second tool (you can see the old marker fly out before the new marker flies in).

This still occurred in a quick experiment where the second object was displaced by 200 pixols along the Z axis.

Aurick, I dont need to creat a composite mesh, I just want to be able to redraw the 3 things together, they are not in the same xy coordinates, they are fairly far appart, 2 are Sphere3dCopy2(the eyes) and the head is Skin_Sphere…
i can do it without the multimarker, but its much faster when doing several heads to be able to have it draw all 3 things at the same time.
