I have a problem with the MME, I only want the displacement map and normal map. Isn’t MME supposed to export 3 tiles for each map? I checked the 3 channel tab in Disp. map options it still exports only 1 for each. What do I have to do to fix this? I’m trying to render in mental ray in maya.
The channel option is nothing to do with UV tiles. There’s no setting needed for UV tiles, Multi Map Exporter will do it automatically, but will only export separate maps for UV tiles if the tiles are in different UV spaces. In other words, if they are all in the 0-1 UV space then MME can’t separate the tiles.
