In this zip there is a Convert.bat files
click and drag the tif file on to it in a windows explorer window and it will make maps

Map is a file format for maya, you needs maps in order for it to make the tif memory mapable

Hello guys,so is any big difference between workflow in using MD2 32 bits and MD3 32 bits for maya?

ok thats my solution: if maya doesnt open ur 32 bit displacements tiffs what u took from z brush ,open that displacement with photoshop and save it again as a copy…maya will open it and u can render… but i have one more problem,i dont know why,renderman and mental ray renders corrupted my multi displacement 3 displacements maps i tried all quick codes but i cudnt be succeed it…and my project is dead really :confused:

If I were you, I would use the convert bat .map option instead of the photoshop one. Works great for me.

As Canned Mushrooms says, maya doesnt like 32 bit tifs. And .map files render faster too i think.
