Multi Displacement 3 problem

Im getting a weird almost mono tone displacement map, like it only black and white, exporting from multi-displacement3, in 16 bit it seems fine. But when I export as a 32 bit i get this mono tone image.
i have set the code to DE-LBEK-EAEAEA-D32, exporting as a tif. i’ve looked around the forum to see if anyone has had the same problem, but cant find anything, can someone help.

It looks like you’re trying to open the map in a program that doesn’t support 32-bit floating point maps.

Im using photoshop cs3.

Well it seems to be something to do with the AD.Factor, when I change this to Auto, it gives me a decent 32 bit map, however when Im trying to load this into maya/renderman, it gives me some problem to do with a tag, and does’nt render anything.
I was wondering is it something to do with the scale of my object that iam exporting.
