Multi Disp 2 maps render pure black (pc)

My displacent maps generated with MD1 are fine, but any maps created with MD2 render as pure black.

Have tried different export settings, objects, uv mappings, but result is always the same.

Config: XpPro SP2, P4 2.8 Ghz, Radeon 9600xt, 1.5G ram

What program are you rendering the map in? There have been some cases where other users of various programs have reported black renders. If you do a search here at ZBC you should be able to locate the thread appropriate to your rendering engine.

Sorry, I meant to say the map images GENERATED are 100% black, not that they RENDER black (although I suppose they indeed would!)
