I love it! I really love the render! Especially the head area!
Great work!
NickZ.
Hahah this one made me smile. Looks just like Mr T himself, the angry face, the cartoony look and the icing on the cake, the package of milk. Very cool!
Cheers guys! -appreciated.
Managed to guess who it was from just the thumbnail so five big ones for a very well done model.
Wayne…
I AINT GETTIN ON NO PLANE FOOL! hehehe love it!
i pity the fool who don’t drink milk. nicely done, just a crit i think the gold needs to be more goldish it almost is whitegoldish.
is he going to be in the new a-team movie?
ps. looks like his milk expired quite awhile ago
Lol its funny how you gave him slippers, hahahah love it¬
great job!
Great sculpt. Only tiff i have with it is that the blocky shadow of the milk cartoon on his left side is a bit harsh and could be softened out. Such a rigged shape on an organic and stylized character doesnt flow well.
Congrats on your sculpt. Definitely demo reel material!!!
Hey great render. I really like the slippers as well, I would love to see him move. This may sound silly, but this for some reason gives me the feel of a vray render - with the cloudy looking green background. I see that in a fair amount of vray renders, what is that if you dont mind, as in what function of mental ray? Is it MR in maya or MR in max? Again, great render!
That is just so funny on so many levels! Nice work.
Well Done! Mr T. is my hero. Nice sculpting, texturing and sss Shader. I think it’s all good. I do think his hands lack a little detail and power. Overall this is a memorable piece.
Thanks to everyone for the kind comments so far. Kiser: The background for this is simply a quick Photoshop effort. He will eventually feature alongside some other characters in a full blown, proper scene which I’ve been working on. (Keep watching this space!)
hehe thats awesome… really cool work.
though I noticed that his hand seems under modelled in relation to his face.
my only crit though… and a tiny one at that.
cheers.
This really cracked me up. My only crit would be that the rest of his skin doesn’t live up to the face detailing. By comparison, it just looks really plastic. Especially the hands. And that contrast is so jarring that it detracts from what is otherwise spectacular quality.
Faubulous! I love it when a plan comes together!
Hehe. Thanks guys. Rob, Aurick: Yes, you’re both right, the palms, arms and belly regions could be improved -The final scene I’ve been composing will feature other characters which will obscure him (at lest partially), so i was going to leave these extra bits until I could be certain exactly how much I’d actually need to show. Although in hindsight, it does seem a bit lazy not to have simply made the extra effort for the sake of this image. I’ll post an update as soon as i get round to fixing these. Peas, Lee.
