Of course, I´ve several adjustments to do on this model, but it´s just the begin and I will be posting the process here. In this work I spent 2 days to modeling until now, as usual done on Zbrush;) Please, comments and critics are wellcome Alan Update

great likeness and modeling man. i didn’t even read the title when i clicked on the thumbnail and i knew who it was instantly. although, i’m not sure i needed to see him in his boxers—now i can’t watch batman the same again.

Love the sculpt, smooth flow. I lke to see the base mesh please.

Keep it up, will look nice with textures.

great, do you still working on the face right?

Alex Oliver

One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest is still one of the best movies I’ve seen! Nice sculpt! 5* from me :+1:

Hi Alan.

It looks great! You nail the likeness very easy
One small comment would be that the back of the head is a little too big or too high.

Bas Mazur - Hi buddy, I lost that, I´ll get the dvd to see this movie for sure, but anyway he´s one of best actors to me. Thanks for your comment dude.

undoz - Hey buddy, glad you like it, thanks for your nice words. Yes, You´re totally right, I already fixed it in the last up, thanks again friend.

Well, here´s one more up.

I would like to work a bit more on the model, but my lap top with only 1 gb of ram is ridicolous to it, But I´ll to finish on my dell precision…much better.

I´ve made a fast render on maya with hdri to see the volume and other things. I´ve painted the map on Zbrush with colorize method. To the work flow I used one photo as reference, projected on the model and made one copy to paint, see the pics.

AMAZING!!! I’m just learning Zbrush. Can you offer any tips on how you achieved such a great realistic skin tone? I want to add some realistic skin to my big Cranium alien. Wow, I come to this forum and I am constantly amazed at the incredible work everyone produces.

great render !..i think the hairs are placeholder…keep it up !

Fantastic, you even made him look thinner.

PixolJohn - Hi buddy, Thanks for your nice words. The skin is just a colormap painted on Zbrush as I said. On Maya I used the fast skin shader, I´ll post the shader setup here later, Thx again dude.

skulll_monster - Hi buddy, thanks mate. I´m posting now one pic with projection of Nicholson´s pic over the 3D.

bicc39 - Thanks friend

One more pic with a projection of nicholson´s hair over the model. I´ll to improve the maps and somethings on the model. Crits and comment are welcome.

excellent modeling, texture, and render :+1: :+1: :+1:

give the poor man some lips LOL. also his chin seems way off >.< but defintly him!

REMINDS ME OF stan laurel i thinks his name was or the other dude…
crits on his teeth. they look rotten… but your getting there i guess:+1: nice one

Absolutely incredible. It’s obviously “the wolf.” One bit of advice, though. Jack Nicholson has a lopsided grin. The lower right part of his smile pulls down further than the left side. Also the “angled end” of his famous “eyebrow flash” is at a bit sharper angle than you’ve displayed. However, your model could easily be used in a movie as an action double “as is.” (Because it is still absolutely freakin’ incredible!)
