Hi all, here is a new character of mine, i’ve got about 8 hours into it including a base mesh that i stored out to be used later. hope you like the way its going, of course crits are always welcome. just getting into the detailing now, making customs alpha’s and textures. This guy is at a million plus poly’s i hope to get him detailed and painted in the next few days.

here’s an update on the face details. made two custom alpha’s and i’m now making my way around refining the stamp look with a little volume and wieght.

hi threetails looks very impressive ,is it for a still or animation?
I’m not skilled enough yet to do animation, this is just for a still, right now i’m just trying to get through the whole process. Uv’s, Color etc, are all new to me in ZB or any other program, so wish me luck. Here’s the last update for today, refining the body and getting a bit more detail on the head. Thanks again everyone.
This is very very cool character! Very nice texturing around the eyes. I think even tho that character pretty much doen’t have a nose, but think it should have atleast two small holes for him to breathe.

This character breaths through the two slits on the top of his head, it’s a common theme in my character design. It came to me when i realized just how deep our sinus cavities actually are, screwy… you bet :lol: , but it makes for a great design element. thanks for checking it out J.L.

Well i got around to alot of the details and form refinment today, let me know what you think. I’m going to need some help with the mapping and painting process, materials and the like, if anyone can give me a walk thru, i know i’ll need a hand. Thanks for all the great comments…enjoy.
after the sculpt is done on this guy, whats my next step in terms of materials and paint. etc. can anyone direct me to info for this. would be greatful thanks.
These are some of the final details before I get to the textures. still have alot to go over as far as the material creation and mapping etc. but i’ll keep posting the progress as I go.
