Moving tool causes tool to distort and rip. - Fixed!

Hi,

I am making teeth for my monster in Zbrush. I decided to create one tooth, and then append and duplicate that tooth to make rows of teeth. Unfortunately, when I duplicate my sculpted tooth and try to “move” it, it completely distorts the proportions instead of simply moving the entire tooth.

I’ve got a project due soon, and I would really appreciate some help on this matter.

Thanks!

Make sure it’s not masked at all. Click and drag in open canvas to clear masks.

Also make sure it’s not symmetry settings pulling it apart. If the tooth is in the dead center of your screen, it’ll try to pull in two directions at once.

I assume you’re using the “move” transpose line, and dragging the center circle to move it?

Thank you very much! Disabling symmetry did the trick. And yes, I was dragging from the middle transpose circle on the “move” line.
