Moving multiple subtools without Transpose Master?

Hi guys!

I have a problem here with placing an eye to my character model. Iris and eyeball are separated(both containing layers, I don’t want them be merged), so I wonder how I can move both of these two subtools in place.

Thanks in advance!

You’ll need to use Tool>Deformation>Offset:

  1. Hide any subtools you don’t need for reference and completely mask those you do. Visible subtools that aren’t masked will be moved, so for example, you’ll need to mask the head subtool. Select it and Ctrl+click the background to Mask All.
  2. Select one of the subtools you want to move. All the others that are to be moved should be visible.
  3. In the Tool>Deformation sub-palette select an Axis on the Offset slider by clicking the little X, Y or Z.
  4. Adjust the slider to move the subtool. IMPORTANT - you can move the slider back and forth to adjust the position but once you release the mouse you must go on to the next stage as the next steps must be repeated after every adjustment.
  5. At the bottom of the Tool>Deformation sub-palette, make sure the Mask option is on (next to the Repeat To Other button). Now press Repeat To Other. The other unmasked subtools will be moved relative to the one you moved.
  6. Repeat (4) - with a different axis - and (5) until you are happy with the new positions.

HTH,

Wow! Thank you so much Marcus!!!
