Moving and rotating a ZSphere model into place? (Hand mannequin; can't use Gizmo)

Well, the picture will say it all:

I brought the ZSphere hand in from the Lightbox menu so I could figure out a pose. I want to keep it posable and move it onto the wrist before moving the fingers into position. Impossible?

Figured out I could move the hand with ALT + Click, but have no idea how to rotate the whole thing.

Hi @natureintheory

You will have to use Offset, Rotate and Size in the Tool > Deformation subpalette to transform it. Same with any zsphere chain.

That’s what I ended up doing. But it took half an hour just to position a hand, and badly at that:

Surely there’s a better way? It’s really weird that mannequins can’t be positioned more easily, given the purpose of a mannequin.

EDIT:
Guess not; these are indeed the ways (just adding this in case anybody else Googles this same question):

Next time, would be faster to make a hand or download a pre-made model with hands.

Yea it’s insane I tell ya. You should be able to use the gizmo. I guess they gave up on development.
