Moving a circle mask??

Ok, I thought I was seeing things, but I’m now curious.

If you look at this video:
http://www.pixologic.com/zclassroom/homeroom/tutorial.php?lesson=zbrush4

Go to 1min and 6 secs.

Is it me, or did Geert Melis manage to move a circle that was drawn out, before committing it as a stroke?

Once you draw out the circle, let go of Ctrl and hold down Spacebar to move it.

Edit: BTW, did you link to the right video? I didn’t see that a 1:06 in the first vid.

Ah! the space bar! Thanks!

Yeah that was mentioned in the next video. Posted too soon.

Sorry I thought it was 1min 6sec, it happened so fast though!

You can do the same with Masks, Clip Brushes and Selection Masks.

I got ZB4 when it came out, upgraded my copy… then life hit! (wife badly ill, 3 kids, 2 jobs…etc)

Not even had a chance to play with it. Now… IT’S LIKE CHRISTMAS!!

So many features I never new about!

Shame there is no auto retopo like that in 3D coat… but hell the rest of this stuff is amazing!!! loving the hard surface tools!!

At times the ‘spacebar’ move mask doesn’t function for me but I’ve found that if I hold down the Alt key in addition to the spacebar key I can again move the masked area around. Seems to be some inconsistent phenom.
Be sure to release the Alt key once you have your mask in your desired position.
