move tool scales my model when moving

Hello-
I was wondering if anyone knows why this is happening. When I move my model with the move function it scales my model all weird. I grab the center handle and the whole model moves but it deforms and scales weird. I don’t understand why this is happening. It also happens when I Rotate. This is similar to when in Maya the normals are jumbled. I checked my normals on my base mesh in Maya and the seem to all point the right way. Please help.

I’m sure you’ve checked this already, but make sure you have symmetry off, and you’ve cleared the mask (sometimes masked bits aren’t visible in the viewport).

I’m having a similar problem. Sometimes when I’m rotating my model in draw mode I can’t get out of rotate mode. Every time my cursor is in the work space my model will rotate even if I try to scale or whatever.

Am I hitting some sort of button or something?

I figured out 10 minutes after posting this that I had symmetry on. I guess I didn’t know that symmetry worked in the transforms as well as the sculpting.
