Or rather move tool problems with a xyplane and a model.

I’m finding when I try to append the two together the xyplane is suddenly very very small - and any attempts to use the move tool to resize it results in only a limited number of polys moving - almost as if there’s a clean sphere of influence affecting the object (this happens for both the xyplane and the model)

Anyone had this happen and know why/a good way to work around it or reliable setting up process for the xyplane?

Can you post a screen shot of the problem?

Brushes>Move does have an area of influence and a falloff.

If you use Transform>Move (or Scale or Rotate), this activated TransPose. If the SubTool is unmasked, then TransPose will affect the whole SubTool.
