Hi friends, i am new to this wonderful program and have learnt a great deal from tutorials, mostly of the video kind. one simple thing is confounding me greatly and that is how can i bring tools back and forward when combining them in the 2.5 canvas. appreciation for the answer in advance…

I figured it out. take it off edit, put it on move so the gyro is visable then click and drag in the side grey area and hey presto, tool moves forward and backwards in the 2.5d space. now i need to figure out why i can’t get the shading to work properly in best render.

to move objects on the Zplane you’ll need to have the gizmo showing (out of edit, in move)
and drag off the gizmo and in some freespace on the canvas, or the safe area on the sides.
