Move/Scale/Rotate mutilple subtools together?

Hi, guys! Nice to see you again!
Here is a question that whether Move/Scale/Rotate mutilple subtools in the same time in Zbrush? Is the tool Scale/Offset in Subtool Master available for this. and I was not trying out with Scale/Offset?

Thanks, I’m appreciate!

TransPose Master can do this.

Hi Transpose master is awesome. You Tpose your model. Select/mask off areas to move your model to your liking. Then Press Tpose Subtools and it moves them all for you.

aurick, martiangirl: Thanks for your methods! Transpose Master is amazing.

I have tried it and there is problem that afer transposed back to normal, some of my subtools were crashed (just like Project All sometimes), how is this happen?:frowning: not due to mask when transposing. The polygons are too high and my PC can’t afford?

So if there is a way to Move/Scale/Rotate without transposing, that will be better.

Thanks very much and I will keep trying.

Hi can you post an image of the problem so we can see what you mean.

I am sure it is fixable. When I first used transpose master, I thought I was doing it wrong, I didn’t realise that you had to re-sculpt your model a little once you had finished posing.lol

Practice makes perfect:)

HI, martiangir,it’s so nice of you!
I reinstall zbrush and the problem has gone:) .
My character and its scene were modeled separately due to my poor computer:cry: . Now I wanna merge them in a single ZLT, but there is the problem of proportion, so I wanna Move/Scale/Rotate my scene to match my character.
Is there another way except Transpose Master? If not, Transpose Master is enough.(I have a shadow of computing with my PC, fear of Error!!! )

Thanks!

Hi siyukalebtao

No problem, I am a noobie too, but happy to share the little I know.

Please, more experienced Zbrusher please jump in incase I am advising badly:)

Here is what I think I would try.

Load your character.

Load your other bits you have made

Go back to the main character, click append, choose the other part and it will append it to your character.

Go back to your man character and repeat the process if you have more than one part to append.

When you need to scale rotate etc… make sure you are on the part that you want to scale etc in the subtool section.

come out of draw mode, click on move or scale or rotate(whichever you need)

This will give you the Transpose line. Now this can be tricky when you first play around with it, but don’t be put off.

whilst in Move (for eg) drag the transpose line across your subtool. click in the middle white circle and drag your subtool to a postion. you will have to click outside and move your tool around to reposition and repeat the process until you get the hang of it.

There are some good videos in the classroom here and on youtube and the wiki on here has some great info.

Just have a play around with it:)

Hope that is helpful?

Hi, martiangirl,Thanks for your reply.

But my point is to Move/Scale/Rotate several subtools together in a single tool.
The way you mentioned is only to affect one subtool.
Thank all the same.
