Move Scale Rotate Help

I’ve seen videos where people use the move scale and rotate with the little ruler that stretches out across the canvas with the little circles but I can’t figure out how the thing works. I don’t see any info on the zbrush site or on the Docs page or the Videos.

Also when I use a scale or rotate or move and then try to use the buttons in the transform pallet they don’t do anything. I’d like to be able to conform the transformations to certain axis. I’m sure its easy to understand but I just need a little info.

I want to be able to learn everything about these tools. I want to use them in conjunction with masks and such but I need to learn the basics.

Can somebody lead me to information on these transform tools?

I also posted a custom UI and files for it :wink:

I guess the word I need to look for is transpose. And transform is something different that probably applies to base mesh objects or something.

I’ll get it one day.

Thanks

Hi 4MalZ,

Yes, transpose and transform can get a bit confusing.

These videos are very helpful;

Personally I prefer manuals to videos;

Check your Zbrush>Documents folder for the Manuals and Addenda,
especially the ZBrush_Documentation_Guide page 67, Transpose.
