Move multiple subtools without merging? Or merge with multuple uv sets?

Hey

I have 2 subtools; one is subdivided and textured with polypaint and the other is low res with uv’s and a texture made in photoshop. I need to merge the two together so I can move/scale/rotate them as one, but when I merge down ZBrush will only allow me to have one UV set for the whole subtool. If I merge the textured subtool down then the other subtool looses the polypaint and inherents the texture or vice versa. Is there a way to keep the texture and polypaint - like say a texture applied to a polygroup and polypaint applied to another polygroup but in the same subtool?

Thanks in advance

SubTool Master, which is included with ZBrush is specifically created to allow you to move one SubTool and have the rest follow it. See your ZBrush installation’s Documentation\plugins folder.

Hi aurick,

Could you please explain how this would be done in Subtool Master? There isn’t any documentation for Subtool Master in the ‘Documentation\plugins’ folder or the Download Center. The only documentation I know of is on the wiki here, but it doesn’t mention anything about moving one subtool and having the rest follow. As far as I know, that can be done in the ‘Tool > Deformation’ subpalette with the ‘Repeat To Active’ and ‘Repeat To Other’ buttons, but I was never aware that it could be done in Subtool Master.

Thanks!

I’m sorry. I meant TransPose Master rather than SubTool Master. My bad!
