Mountain Troll + Animation

wow!!! cool mov, Excellent sculpts work ! I can learn much from your work:+1:

Thanks guys!

Rimasson: I exported 16bit displacement maps at the lowest level. No additional bumpmaps were needed, mental ray rendered out the displacement maps with pretty much all the detail I put in.

Great model and I really liked the animation test. Gorgeous secondary motion. It was a pleasure to watch.

great job, very cool animation…

amazing work !

This is great, it’s so cool, the reel is amazing, cool!!!

I love this. Very good work. :D.

I have always been a great fan of your work Jelmer !

You have done another great job .

I mainly like the clean look of your work. Very good presentation too.

Keep going  !

Thank you so much guys, and thanks for the plug!

There’s a bit of a ‘making off’ thing coming out soon about this guy. I’ll try to make sure to post it.

Wow that animation is fantastic, the rigging looks stupendous with displacement.

Can you elaborate more the rigging?

How’d you do the feet?

hi there awesome work boy

the only thing that attracts me is your whole work

hey just put on a detail on rig please that would be helpful

how you managed to get the grin on his face and the bounce on his stomach

keep em comin as i say

jelmer

i went to your website but i could not see anyting

i mean gallery or some kind of your art work when i went for the showreel it pormpted me for upon request

anyways awesome work

This is awesome. Even though it’s a WIP, I like everything about it. The creature has so much weight to it’s movement.

Awesome work, the creature looks very cool. Walk cycle looks great. Cant wait to see more!

hey man nice to see you in the top row!! great model and nice animation overall! waiting to see some more! take care and keep in touch!

Very impressive work. The animation is sweet but the character itself is what impressed me. Well deserved top row slot.

I really like bulging and jiggling on the thighs near the knees, the pushing of the belly and the spreading of the toes.

heya bro this your old pal brothers grim from polycount…nice work brother.
take care

oh maya god!!! :grimacing:

 :+1:

u old pooch

Your uber clean topology is turning me on. Cool animation. :+1:
