Morph UV?

What is the point of morph uv? It doesnt allow you to sculpt or paint on a flat uv surface. Well it does but it is lost when it morphs bach to the model. It would be great to have a flat uv to sculpt and paint on similar to what body paint has. It would make it handy for applying seamless alphas and with projection master.

Just a bit confused as to the point of it if you cant use it? Or am I using it wrong?

It’s a great way to quickly check out the UV layout.

Also, by using Projection Master and a texture, you can Paint on the flattened mesh. The texture can then be converted back to Polypaint, or used to generate a mask.
