More ZB3 Install problems

Hi all,

I have downloaded my ZB3 Setup exe, no problem there as far as i know.
When i install it im getting a 1335 error.
which is basicaly telling me my install is corrupt.
Data1.cab required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used.

If i ignore, then a get an Error 2350.FDI server error.

Im guessing either i need to change some in my network settings, or the Zbrush3.Exe is actually corrupt on their server.

Ive mailed support, but heard nothing from them.

Anybody else having woes?..

forgot my machine specs

Win xp pro sp2
intel dual x2 6600@ 2.40ghz
2gig ram

Yes, I’m having the same problem as well.

Steps to cure the problem:

  1. Restarted the PC
  2. Copied the Zbrush3 setup file to C:\

Still having problems…

Spec: Windows xp-64 SP2, 4GB RAM, 300GB Hard Drive

are we all using the same exe version?

mine is =12.0.0.58851

when did people download this exe…

i got it at about 9.30 gmt today

Ok guys…good news and bad news!!

I have just got a friend of a friend to send me another version of the .exe
They got theres the other day. Guess what!

IT INSTALLS FINE !!..

which says to me that the installer you are downloading is corrupt!
Dont bother trying to make your pc run it as it wont.

So if you can get the installer off somebody who has a working version, i would do that or…Wait ? i know…i didnt want to wait either!

Awww cr*p… well hopefully they will get another link up to a mint version soon…

Just downloaded it again a couple of minutes before this post.

Same error.

Logged a call with tech support, also directing them to this thread.

I was having this problem with the Zactivator.dll >Can’t Activate Zbrush< so I thought I would re-download the installer. Now I have this problem. Has anyone found a fix?

Those who experienced the issue as reported above in this thread can redownload. Your confirmation email from Cleverbridge contains the download link to use.

Welp, I redownloaded the installer and now I am back to my original problem.

Aurick, do you have any other tricks in that black bag of yours?
