Hey guys, I’m in the process of sculpting tight curley hair. I started it by making a skull cap and inserting various subtools (each curl is its own subtool). I then merged all visible to get one tool and now would like to make a unified mesh to allow the topology from the skull cap to flow down into the visible curls. However i have a top limit of 1024 resolution on my unified skin modifier which is not enough resolution to keep the curles. Is there any way to increase the max amount of the resolution of unified skin?
This is a very good question I would also like to see answered. I am wondering though if the answer is going to be to manually retopologize the model as one piece though. I would be awfully nice to be able to do the unified skin and then re-channel the subdivisions levels (detail) of the tool and all subtools back onto the single model though.
