Knocked it up in about 20 mins, i’d recommend a tablet to anyone for speed.
It’s a pretty basic one and only about 8x5 but I don’t think, given a choice, i’d paint with a mouse again.
Okay I know the bird sucks but hey it is only rough.

Looks like your having fun there Mik!
Last one, i’m going to stop hogging the image bar now.
All 2D, about 10-20 minutes spent on each.
Cheers for looking.

Joe.
I like the bird. All of these are great. I have a tablet, but I haven’t tried it yet. I will definitely give it a try though.
The first one is truly amazing, I do not think the bird is bad, it is light-hand drawing and fits in the picture well.
Do not forget, however, a signature is a part of an artwork too.
I still use my track ball a lot, but do love my little tablet. These pictures of yours shows real talent. Impressive.
Awesome work Mik, the second image is my favourite too…
all done in a day, wow! all of them are

Nice work, Mik. I’m glad you continued the thread - my joint favourites are the last two; very different styles but equally appealing.
Thanks for your comments, I find this a very good way of getting my mind ticking over if I am stuck for ideas.

Nice pictures Mik. I like a lot the candle.
I think in the future I’ll make a candle
picture inspired to yours. Thanks.
excellant exercise Mik, I will do the same thing…just to get past the writers block…and the results of the quick doodles turn into something more than anticipated alot of the times…I like both of those two images.
Tablet all the way Mik!!! I know I’ll never go back to a mouse (except at work where I have no choice) again if I have anything to say about it!!
Your quick sketches are very good. A definate inspiration for someone new to 2D work
All of your images are great, Mik
