Damn, I actually hoped they would make the announced release date this time around.
If it’s not ready, don’t release it, and it’s yet another free update which is amazing and I really appreciate it. But I really don’t get why they keep making the same mistake over and over again an miss every release date. Why not announce an end September release for the users, but keep an earlier deadline internally?
They’d already have done that with this August date? 
It is still August you know. Pixologic are based on the west coast of USA so they still have over 9 hours left before August is over. If its like previously, they may release just before midnight their local time.
