Captain Sensible - I usually work with godspeed in mind. this guy is about 8 hours and counting. I most often want to have the base image blocked out in 4 hours or less.

Nice firebrand! I was just thinking about him the other day. I was thinking of doing him for the sculpting challenge over at 3d total. I never played the snes game but he was alto the titular character in the gameboy game Gargoyle’s Quest.
Nice poultry. looks like chicken rather than turkey ( not sure which you were shooting for) great job on the skin. Now put a top hat on him and take it into maya for some animation gold.
hello. my ref I thought was turkey… but I sure as H couldn’t be for certain. what in your opinion would make it more turkey-ish. smaller wings maybe, bigger breasts and thighs,

The arms and wings are definitely turkey. I’m just so used to the enormous breasted american turkeys, but I sup[pose yours could be free range and or natural, but if it’s butterball you’re shooting for then yeah, make the breast bigger. but it makes me smile whenever I look at it either way. What are you making this for anyway?
