Hey everyone, I’m pleased to present my first character in Unreal 4. Even though I decided to make small changes to add my own ideas of storytelling for him through the details, my goal was to keep the feeling of the original concept art. My process of creating this character started by doing: Highpoly (Zbrush)-> Lowpoly and UVs (Maya) ->Baking (Marmoset)-> Texturing (Substance Painter) and hair cards (Substance Designer)-> Lighting and Material Shaders(UE4). I started working on it during my mentorship with Bernardo Cruzeiro (https://www.artstation.com/bernardoyang) and used the character as my final project at Full Sail University for Portfolio 7 class with Dustin Tinkler. The character itself has a total of 65K tris and his weapon has 4K tris.
