They launched i.materialise in 2009 where you can upload your model, choose the material and size and get it printed.

Its not very big – about 3,5 inch (9cm) so I think the details came out very nice and theyve done a great job. From what Ive seen they have a lot of different printers and materials. Hopefully I have some time for Zbrush today. I finally need to finish all my unfinished models because I want to start with a new big project as soon as possible.
I want to create my own planet with animals, plants, inhabitants, a background story and a profile for each species.
That will keep me busy for the next years I guess.
Ill make all the concepts and maps of the different areas as well as 2d images of the environment with Paintstop and the whole sculpting and texturing in Zbrush. I think I need to start a new thread for this project because itll be too confusing when I model something cartoony or project-unrelated stuff from time to time.

You know, I have some projects alike (not as big), but every time I start to work on that a client calls me up. Over the years I think of it as a job generator hihihi … I’d really like to see your planet evolve!
I am sorry I haven’t been on for a while but what a great thread. As always love all your work. You really have come far in such a small amount of ztime. You have great talent. I love all of your creatures especially the small critters. Your anatomy is really great. Hope to see more and one day you on top row. Good zluck with your contests.

I need to learn more about layout now.. and I want to make a logo, too, which means I need to learn new programs -> new problems :D I cant wait to see more from you (hopefully soon).
