Fernando Kuhlmann: Hey Fernando! Thank you very much.
The model was for a challenge from the company Materialise.
http://www.materialise.com/
They launched i.materialise in 2009 where you can upload your model, choose the material and size and get it printed.
You need to check out this video.
They`re doing alot of awesome things. Very cool use of 3d printing.

Troy1617: [color=LemonChiffon]Troy, thank you very much for all the compliments.
Regarding the best company… well… in my opinion the best 3d prints of models Ive seen to date are printed by desmoda from ownage: [http://www.ownage.com/](http://www.ownage.com/) [http://www.zbrushcentral.com/showthread.php?t=65634&page=1](http://www.zbrushcentral.com/showthread.php?t=65634&page=1) I also love my print from Materialise (see links above). Its not very big – about 3,5 inch (9cm) so I think the details came out very nice and theyve done a great job. From what Ive seen they have a lot of different printers and materials. Just check out their hp.
shavedmonkey:[color=LemonChiffon] Hiya! Thank you very much. Are you working on something new? I was talking to Andrew from CGCOACH a few weeks ago and there will be a new contest in the near future. I hope youre going to enter then. Would be cool! gordon-v:[color=LemonChiffon] Hey Max! Thank you very much for the compliments. :) And I so love your girl with the wings. When are they going to print it? Captain Sensible:[color=LemonChiffon] Hey Captain, thank you very much! Regarding the 6ft monster -- I hope I can show some pics in a few weeks. Its a creature… but not a cartoony one.
O/MI:[color=LemonChiffon] Hey! Thanks a lot! Im glad to hear you like it. LG karmajf: [color=LemonChiffon]Thank you very much! Yeah, well.. hes steeling the letters out of the books… so thats not a good thing either. :D InsoManiac:[color=LemonChiffon] Hi there! Thanks a lot for the compliment. Do you have no time or dont you want to model something at the moment? I hope to see something new from you soon.

I just don’t want to model really, I draw a lot lately tho, got into the art thingie in highschool so I’ll have 18 hours of art lessons a week

Great work Moni, congratulations!!!

ahaha really Nice Stuff!! congrats for your work!!!

Congratulations Moni
the lettereater looks so cool, love his expression !
The print looks just great.

Hi moni,
is it done on a ZCorp printer using ceramic material (feels a little grainy to the touch)?
Regards
Heiner

InsoManiac: 18hours art lessons per weeks sounds awesome! I wish Id have that much time for Zbrush per week. Kind of sad to hear you dont want to model at the moment. But at least youre checking ZBC regulary and who knows, maybe well see new things from you soon.
max-tx: Thank you very much.
arthurduque: Thanks a lot. Im glad to hear you like the colors. Lucky_1: Hey Lucky! Thank you very much for the nice comment. :) Heiner_hink: Hello Heiner' Yes, as far as I know its done on a ZCorp printer but I cant tell you which material theyve used because they have a lot of different materials and I didn`t ask.

Hopefully I have some time for Zbrush today. I finally need to finish all my unfinished models because I want to start with a new big project as soon as possible.
I want to create my own planet with animals, plants, inhabitants, a background story and a profile for each species.
That will keep me busy for the next years I guess.
Ill make all the concepts and maps of the different areas as well as 2d images of the environment with Paintstop and the whole sculpting and texturing in Zbrush. I think I need to start a new thread for this project because itll be too confusing when I model something cartoony or project-unrelated stuff from time to time.
Have a nice weekend everyone and see you soon.

Haha, the letter eater is awesome! :+1:

wow that’s very ambitious - looking forward to the progress :+1:

Hey moni! The Lettereater looks great - congratz on winning the print :sunglasses: :+1: . Thanks for the info on Materialize (weird, their headquarters is not very far from where I live - could be useful in the future).
I’m really looking forward to seeing the development of your new project - you HAVE to stick with it because I KNOW it’s going to be great!

Go moni go

You know, I have some projects alike (not as big), but every time I start to work on that a client calls me up. Over the years I think of it as a job generator hihihi … I’d really like to see your planet evolve!

I am sorry I haven’t been on for a while but what a great thread. As always love all your work. You really have come far in such a small amount of ztime. You have great talent. I love all of your creatures especially the small critters. Your anatomy is really great. Hope to see more and one day you on top row. Good zluck with your contests.

Intervain: Thanks Magda! Ive already drawn a lot of concept sketches, made some basemeshes and started writing the story. I hope I can post the first stuff soon. I need to learn more about layout now.. and I want to make a logo, too, which means I need to learn new programs -> new problems :D I cant wait to see more from you (hopefully soon).

Etcher: Thanks a lot, Geert! :)

I hope I will. So far there is no end in z-ight.
balloon head is getting bigger and bigger

klausknuth: Hey Klaus, thank you!

Clever idea! LOL
I dont hope your clients stop calling you but I hope youll find enough time for your own project.

Seavannah: Thank you for all the nice compliments. You`re too kind. :o
