Im sure she will love this painting. A work of art is never finished. Just left alone. I love the style and everything that is going on. You should get that as a tattoo!!
great job moni!! love it!
this is the greatest christmas gift ever!
goood sister-in-law, yes you are
Wow, that looks lovely Moni, a great peice!!!
Beautiful! I love the depth and richness of the colors
! Why does everything have to be so difficult sometimes; you get ZBrush up and running and then the Print Shop doesn’t deliver
. I hope you’ll get it printed in time!
I love it but they look too clean O:
Looking good Moni! If you’ll have another go on the lighting, you could add a bit stronger and harsher rim light and some darker ground shadows under the characters.
haha love it:D
i think some work on the render and it’s at top row:)
great finish moni. sure your sis-in-law will love it.

[color=LemonChiffon]Thank you very much, cal! Well, I wont continue working on it. This project is closed, but I keep all that in mind for the next time :).Thanks again! Disco Stu: Hehe, I knew somebody would ask that! :D You got me there! At the beginning there were 6 sticks.. bars? (I don
t know how to translate it… Gitterstäbe mein ich) but it didnt look good because the firefly inside wasn
t visible anymore.
Well…its a lantern, so usually there
s glas. But I didnt know how to do paint that and since the whole thing isn
t realistic I thougt it doesnt matter. :) Nattawat_OBBI: Thank you very much! Marsyas: Thank you very much, Geoff. Glad to hear you like it! Vielen Dank nochmal. DAnconia: Thank you very much! I truly hope she
ll like it!
Regarding the tattoo – I need it on my forehead. It would be a great suprise for my family. XD
Energise:
Thank you very much! Shes living in Italy and she wanted a poster for her new house. We both don
t like expensive presents. Self-made things are way cooler.
spimmy:
Thank you very much, spimmy!
Etcher:
Thank you very much, Geert! Yeah…Im afraid that my damn PC devil is back! :D While we
re on it – theres a little devil and an angel sitting on my shoulders. The little angel is sleeping. It was a long day. But the little devil never sleeps so he gave me an adivce. I can
t resist… I just have to say it: Your backtracker is still toooooo small!
InsoManiac:
Thank you very much! Maybe you can explain what you mean by too clean
?
Are you talking about dirt?
undoz:
Thank you very much, undoz! And thanks for the advice. Iwon
t continue working on it, but Ill keep it in mind for the next time. :) rodion vlasov: Thank you very much! Glad to hear you like it. As I said in my previous post -- I won
t continue working on it but I`ll keep on practise rendering.
Al.Tintop:
Hey Timo, thank you very much!
Actually I wanted to continue working on something I started a while ago but I just watched the new ZClassroom video. As a result I want to model an alien now. Itll be just a test-model. I already experimented with all the new 3.5R3 features but some additional exercises won
t hurt.
I`ll post the first WIP pics tomorrow.
Happy Zbrushing!
Bye for now
Wow, the painted version turned out really great
!
Great work Moni! Love the little fireflys!
Santis: Thank you very much!
Etcher: Hehe
Train22: Vielen Dank! Thank you very much, glad to hear you like them.
Here are some new WIP pictures. I started yesterday and I have no idea how itll look in the end. I
m going to work on the hands, arms, legs and feet next. Then Im going to try out some new techniques, the new brushes, some alphas and so on. I think he
ll get an armor because I need to practise with the hard surface brushes. I dont know what I
m doing with his abs then… I dont want them to look toohuman..that
s all I know at this point.
Comments, critiques and tips very welcome. Thanks for watching!

Looks like a good start, I especially like the head (poor neck holding it though :p)
Tasty start,I think the head looks better from the side than from front on.Just the skulls l + r points at the back made me type my opinion, perhaps with the neck mentioned a more streamlined look might work better by dragging them in more central narrowing the head.Just my thoughts, cal
nice! good job on the sculpt
oohh im liking it! keep pushing forward
Great job on the image for the christmas present…
and nice start to the alien too.
Moni, I like your PaintStop piece Gotta love being able to do all that right in ZBrush.
When painting over a best render, export it as a psd for good measure, but you can then just enter PaintStop. It should pick up the image as a tracing paper with the right size canvas and everything ready to go. Just move the transparency slider all the way to the right, and merge the tracing paper to the canvas. Then pick your paper, etc. Bazzzing.
Keep up with the art, I really like your style
