This is a really cool style for the TMNT, I hope you do finish it someday. You got the poses already!
Ninja Turtles… I like how you are making the poses…
Keep on rocking Moni! I just love scrolling through your thread
Kawabanga~!
Holy zmoly Mooni,
Love those owls… finish that pic… !top row stuff there!.. u r zgirl. What progress in this short of time. I knew you had such great potential and imagination but really… wow I mean ZWOW! I want the turtle pics for my desktop when they are finished… you have to, I mean please finish them both, if time allows. Such dynamic poses. Once you had said you weren’t sure about your ability as far as 3d was concerned because you were so used to 2d. Well that was covered, never worry again you have such great natural talent in both. You have a style all your own and an imagination unsurpassed by many.
You are a wonderful person to know and a great artist. I am so zglad I have gotten to know you this past year…ztime flies don’t it? lol. Anyway you take care and keep going, and going and going… lol.
Good luck in every thing you do.
Disco Stu:

Al.Tintop:
Thank you very much! And thanks that you consider to extend my contract.
“…we think…” – WE?? How many of you are there? Do I need to worry about you?
Energise:
Thank you very much! Its also my favourite pose. Glad to hear you like it. womball: Thank you very much! The other poses are only half done, though. I need to pose the arms, fingers and so on when th[color=LemonChiffon]ey have their weapons.. IF I finish them. :) SolidSnakexxx: Thank you very much, Yong! InsoManiac: Thank you very much. :) Kawabanga.. what does that mean? :D Sounds cool! Seavannah: Hey theeeereee! Thank you very much for all the nice compliments. I
m also glad that Ive got to know you! :) Quote "...Once you had said you weren't sure about your ability as far as 3d was concerned because you were so used to 2d..." Are you sure I said that? I have never been a good painter actually *lol*. :o Of course I have drawn as a child... and in school (because we had to :D). Other than that I
ve never been interested in art. I know its a shame. :o I started painting when I started with Zbrush because I thought it might be helpful for drawing concept sketches and stuff like that. Painting and drawing is cool but my favourite pen is definitely my wacom tablet pen. Digital Painting is a great compromise. Hehe. :D Thank you for all that you said! Somebody
s as red as a beet here. :o
Or should I say Ztrawberry-red?
PS:Ah! I forgot to say… ok, Ill finish them for you..:) but it might take a while. I
ll send you the final pic then.
And the Humpatiki illustration is almost done. Only a few more details and I can post it. The problem is my Zbrush doesnt work at the moment. I have no idea what I
ve done this time :D… Im waiting for an answer from the Pixo support but it
s been weekend and after the upgrade I think they`re all pretty busy and it might take a while. I try not to panic this time.
Kawabanga is what the TMNT say
Hm…not that I remember… but there are a lot of different versions. I only watched the old cartoons… and maybe they don`t say that in the german version? They also have a completely different theme song here.
i love those owl and bug characters… nice style
TMNT are lookin’ good - like the poses a lot!
. Hopefully you’ll get ZBrush up and running fast
… See ya
.
Ahhh Mo! You finally posted the turtles You need to finish this for sure! Then you can work on the other ideas
Looking forward to these guys finished and the next work you have in store =)
Well they say it all the time in the super old Hebrew version
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S0rDJ6cYgWM
InsoManiac:
We had a completely different intro
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nx7uxUaePBQ&translated=1
…and theyre also called Hero-Turtles here instead of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Weird. :D But hey -- we all love them so that doesn
t matter, right?
Doqpelgänger:
Thank you very much!
Etcher:
Hey ho! Thank you! Yeah, hopefully it
ll work soon. :) GregStrangis: Ok, ooook... I
ll finish them. Thank you!
michaelangelo (the cool guy with nunchucks) used the word cowabunga.
also surfers often use this word.
and you will finish the tmnt work !? that’s so cool moni, a hug for this.
you don’t need to worry about me i’m ok but the others are kinda weird
Al.Tintop:
Hey, thanks for clearing that up… I still cant remembe[color=LemonChiffon]r. I
m a bad fan! But I didn
t forget that they love pizza! :D I don
t need to worry about you?
That`s good! Say hello to the other weird guys! Hahaha
Heres the final illustration. Don
t pay any attention to the lighting. The moonlight comes from behind… so where do the reflections on the lantern come from? Hm… good question!
I totally forgot that… and as I noticed it I had no more time for another render because this pic is a christmas present for my sister-in-law. I wanted to let it print today… Zbrush worked and I was happy.
I added some glow effect here and there and exported the pic then. You know what? The online poster shop had a problem then!! I need to find another shop tomorrow. I hope itll be delivered in time. Ok, here
s the pic. It`s a scaled down version because the original is very big. Hope you like it.

](javascript:zb_insimg(‘171394’,‘Humpatiki%20PaintStop%20fertige%20Illustration.jpg’,1,0))All done with my beloved PaintStop.
I just played with Zbrushs Render Adjustment settings (contrast, brightness and the RGB color levels) before I started painting. I always wanted to try that and it worked really great! Thanks Marsyas for the brilliant idea and the tuorial! I didn
t forget it, hehe.
Last but not least I have a little question. This was the first time that I painted on a rendered image, so Im just wondering if it
s right to export the render first as BMP or PSD … then open PaintStop, set the height, width and resolution, load the rendered image with the Tracing function and merge it with the canvas then? At least that`s how I did it and it worked.
Thanks for watching.
C+C always welcome!
Cool!!!
It looks fantastic.I didnt expect all the little guys to render out so well, great detail and fun.Im really impressed by the intire image, just brilliant! For me a zbrush top row if you do more lighting tweaks as mentioned by yourself.I’d like to see more highlight on the back of tree and characters i:e the moon. All round usage of zbrush to great effect.
cal
Nice work mrs nightowl
Im only wondering why the one in the lamp isnt also escaping.
Does he know that his guard owl will catch him
Very cool i love the character!
Looks great, Moni! The character designs, expressions, and color are all very effective. I particularly like how you colored the eyes - especially the dark eyes on the main character.
The turtles are looking slick too!
