Modelling with template

Hi there,

I want to work out a model after a couple of pictures and I want to know, if there is:

  1. a tutorial or a thread, what shows me, how I can place a picture in the background or the canvas to model after this

  2. or, if not (I did not found anything in this forum, what could help me), is it possible to work after a couple of photographs, an how?

Unfortunately, I have to work still with 2.03 - yes I run some Macs…

Thanks for your support and sorry, my english is not so good, I´m living in Germany…

Stephan

If you are using ZBrush 2 then this may be useful:
Reference Image 2 plugin

…thanks a lot for you immidiate reply - I just loaded your extension, but the link to the help-page does´nt work any more.

I know, that I have to place .scr-data in the script-folder, but after that, I don´t know how to continue…

Can you give me a little more help?

Thank you,

Stephan

Stephan,

Unzip the zip file to your hard drive, then transfer the RefImage2_rev2.zsc file and the RImage2_data folder to the ZBrush/ZStartup/ZPlugs folder.(If you don’t have a ZPlugs folder in the ZStartup folder then create one.)
Restart ZBrush. You should now have a Reference Image 2 submenu in the ZPlugin palette. Press the Help Notes button at the bottom of this submenu for a tutorial.

HTH,

…the best! Thanks, it seems to work!
