how can i reselect a mesh i’ve modified before? and start sculpting in 3d?
You mean how do you reopen a model you’ve worked on? There are two options when you save. One saves the document, and one saves the tool. I have no idea why they do it this way, b/c the doc seems to be a totally useless thing (basically just a screen grab of the workspace - maybe a more experienced zbrusher can help us both out with an explaination). You want to save the tool. To continue working on the tool, open the tool sub palette and click the load tool button, and navigate to your saved file. You should be good to go.
thanks, i´m completely new using zbrush, and that info u gave me is useful too. but what i meant was…lets say you’re sculpting like you’d normally do, with the EDIT OBJECT option (hotkey T) on, then…i click on the “s” looking option called…“simple brush” a message appears saying me if i want to exit the EDOT/TRANSFORM mode, then i click on “switch”…after that i cannot go back editing and sculpting the mesh i was working on…i you could advise me would be great.
thanks
Ah ok. Well first of all Welcome! All you need to do is reselect your model from the tool menu, click drag to draw it on the canvas, and hit edit. If you have some other stuff on the screen hit ctl-n. This will clear the screen everything you aren’t currently editing.
hey, it totally worked…thank you very much.
