modeling a neutral eye

Recently I have heard that the human eyes do not look straight forward when neutral, but are slightly at an angle (meaning looking slightly cross eyed or possibly at an obtuse angle). Does anyone know a rule of thumb on this- do the eyes look forward parallel to each other in angle, or slightly off?

thank you
Craig

Im no expert on this, but Ill try what I know

Both eyes will look toward the thing that they`re focusing at

So if your stuff is really close, both eyes will rotate toward the center

If the thing is really far away, both eyes will be near parallel
