Modeling 3 similar head at once or pivot point change?

Hi,
I’m trying to model cerberus, and do 3 similar heads at once on one body. Is this possible?

If not, then…

My idea was to do a middle head , using local symetry, then try and copy what I did there to the side head. But by doing this, how would I be able to use local symetry on the head? I know if I could do just that one head, I can later on use smartsym to duplicate to the otherside.

Any tips?

Hide everything but the head you want to work on. Use Transform -> S. Pivot to move the pivot to the center of the head. Use Transform -> C. Pivot to clear the pivot. I might model one head and just use projection to duplicate it onto the three separate heads in the base mesh.

Thanks Kerwin, that was a fast response. I’ll try that out, but how wo uld I use projection?

Make the hi-res head a subtool and use the zProject brush.
