Model with ~3 million polygons, how to decrease without losing detail?

I’ve made a model now with about 3 million polygons. The model are going to be 3D printed so the polygon count should be around maximum 200 000 polys. What is the best way to decrease the number of polygons without losing detail? I tried to use Zremesher, but after waiting about 40 minutes, I gave up.
I also will me merging this obecjt with an other object. Should I do that now or wait until I have lower polygon count?

Thank you! That worked great. What’s the difference between Zremesher and decimation master? When do I use Zremesher?

You typically use ZRemesher in the early stages of sculpting, when your poly count is low and you’re developing your basic forms and topology. You really don’t want to ever use it on a model with over 3 million polygons because it will take forever to compute, as you found out, and could even crash ZBrush.

Decimation Master is used typically at the end, when you’re done sculpting and you want to reduce the poly count of your model without losing detail, so you can take your model into another program like Maya or Studio Max for rendering or if you want to 3D print your model or whatever.
